I am Ridvan Lakas ng Bayan Baluyos. Yes, that is my name. I am currently a Software Desgin Engineer II of NEC Telecom Software Philippines, Inc. I graduated from Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science major in Information Technology.
I am a Software Design Engineer by Trade. I’m a geek during weekdays. I like Computer Science and Computing. I compiled my first program written in BASIC when I was 7. I learned touch typing at age 12 with an average of 60-70wpm.
I do Photography and a bit of Lomography. I do not post-process my photos as I’d like to keep them real and authentic.
I am a Pet Parent. I own a Cat named 3rdy, a cross-breed between Persian Chinchilla and Japanese Bobtail. He eats a lot.
I’m into Martial Arts. I started training Shotokan Karate under the Nihon Karate Kyokai when I was 13. I got my Brown Belt (3rd Kyu) degree when I was 15.
I’m not musically inclined but I like listening to Electronica, Trance, Techno, and Instrumental music. I’m an avid fan of 80’s and 90’s music. I’m a BoA fanatic.
I only talk to people who are capable of having a good conversation with. That’s why most people often see me as boring.
Once you break into my shell, you’ll see the real me – a nonsense guy.
